Swasth Muskan Bharath is a Make Society Smile initiative that aims to improve healthcare services in rural areas of India. With India ranking 112 out of 191 countries on the WHO’s global healthcare systems, it is clear that the country faces significant challenges in the healthcare sector. Infant mortality rates in India remain unacceptably high, and the majority of the population has limited access to healthcare facilities.

One of the key challenges faced by rural communities in India is the lack of affordable and accessible healthcare services. People living in remote areas have to travel long distances to access basic healthcare services. In some cases, patients take on significant debt in order to afford medical care. In order to address this issue, Make Society Smile has launched the Swasth Muskan Bharath initiative, which includes a mobile medical unit.

The primary objective of this project is to provide basic healthcare services to rural communities in India. The mobile health van will act as a healthcare center on wheels, providing services such as vaccinations, health screenings, and medical consultations. The van will be equipped with medical equipment and supplies necessary to provide these services. In addition, the van will be available for emergency services, and people can contact the van’s staff in case of a medical emergency.

The mobile health van will visit different rural areas on a regular schedule, and the local population will be informed about the dates and times of the van’s visit. This will help to increase awareness of health and hygiene practices among the rural population. By providing timely access to healthcare services, the initiative aims to improve the overall health outcomes of the community. In addition, the project will help to reduce the burden on existing healthcare facilities in the region.
